A new post from Bob Lenz on Education Week’s Learning Deeply blog:  In his March 20th post on Learning Deeply, Bob suggested that we toss the SAT entirely, replacing it with a national online deeper learning assessment system, on the premise that only actual student work demonstrates real readiness for college.  In today’s post, he challenges college presidents to bypass the SAT altogether.  If the College Board and the SAT are here to stay (or at least sticking around for awhile), then colleges and universities can create alternative options for students to show what they know.  Read more here, and please join the conversation in the comments section of that post.
