In 2002, we launched our first high school, thanks to the vision and dedication of Daniel McLaughlin, who co-founded Envision Education along with Bob Lenz. Twenty years later, we are now a network of five Bay Area schools serving grades 6-12, along with a consulting division that works with educators all over the country. We remain firmly committed to Daniel’s singular professional purpose: disrupting the cycle of poverty by delivering excellent schools to low-income communities.
Daniel passed away in 2019. To honor his life’s work and in partnership with his family and friends, Envision launched the Daniel McLaughlin College Persistence Scholarship. With this program, Envision honors Daniel’s legacy, ensuring that he continues to have an impact on generations of Envision graduates. With every scholarship award, we fulfill his vision of helping all students achieve a college degree.
