We are thrilled to welcome researchers from the Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning & Equity (SCALE) to our team. Those of you who know both organizations will understand why it makes so much sense to come together. Envision and SCALE started collaborating in the mid-2000’s when SCALE helped Envision build its widely-acclaimed Portfolio Defense system, and we’ve been thought-partnering ever since. SCALE and ELP complement each other beautifully, a marriage of research and practice, task-level technique and whole-school design, the science and the art of performance assessment.
The new ELP will be able to support even more schools as they adopt and adapt the research and resources developed at Stanford University, helping teachers and school leaders prepare all of their students for the day after graduation.
