Last month CEO Gia Truong traveled to Taiwan for the 2018 International Conference on Education Innovation to share Envision’s work. Along with Brian Greenberg, CEO of Silicon Schools Fund, Gia gave several keynote addresses over the course of the 3-day conference.
This year’s conference hosted more than 2,000 people, and more than 30 speakers from Taiwan, the United States, and China shared their views and experiences of education.
In rooms filled with parents, teachers, educational thought leaders, and non-profit organizations, Gia shared how our Portfolio Defense model is not only transforming the way our students learn, but also empowering them to change the trajectory of their lives. She described the confidence and the strong sense of self that, along with academic skills and knowledge, students gain from delivering multiple defense presentations while they are in our schools.
