Impact Academy is one of two schools featured in the Spring 2016 issue of Scholastic Administrator Magazine, in a story called Students Take Charge: What will student-led learning mean for assessment?
The article describes Envision’s Portfolio & Defense model, and how our students demonstrate that they’ve mastered the academics, core competencies, and leadership skills necessary for college success. The story also highlights that at Impact, with a student population that is 55% Latino and 17% African American, 100% of graduates complete the A-G course sequence that is required for admission to the UC and CSU systems, compared to 44% district-wide.
